Manufacturing Buyer

My client based in the Stourport-on-Severn area is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Buyer on a Permanent basis.

You will be responsible for streamlining the procurement and supply chain process to ensure appropriate cost savings as well as building good supplier relationships.

The main responsibilities associated with the role include
- Managing suppliers and reviewing on a continual basis
- Managing Render documentation
- Continuously monitoring market for best value
- Providing reports for senior management on an ongoing basis
- Reconciling delivery notes
- Managing invoices and Purchase orders appropriately
- Ideally have experience in a similar role within manufacturing/engineering
- CIPS Level 4 is required
- experience of purchasing hydraulics is essential
- good technical knowledge of engineering drawings
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent IT Skills incl MS Office and ideally SAGE 200

The salary on offer is up to £40,000 and the hours required are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
