Job Title: Civils Supervisor

Location: Glascoed, Wales

**Salary**: £40,049

What you’ll be doing:

- Supervising and coordinating the work of civils gangs
- Ensuring Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and the teams have the right equipment to complete the job safely and on time
- Ensure teams have completed all pre work paperwork & Activities such as Permit to Work
- Liaising with functional support services to ensure all work equipment is maintained
- Order materials/plant/transport etc as required for resources to undertake their roles
- Identification of training requirements
- Addressing immediate personnel issues within the team, time and absence management

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

- Experience of working as a supervisor (not Team Leader) of more than one civils gang in a construction site capacity
- Health and Safety qualification or working towards - IOSH or NEBOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS
- Full UK driver’s license

Desirable:

- NRSWA Street Works/Supervisors certification or a recognised construction qualification
- Contract management knowledge

Our Civil Supervisor Team:
As a Civil Supervisor you will to join the in-house civils construction team based in the Glascoed manufacturing site. You will be responsible for overseeing the civils team involved with various complex civils and buildings projects on site. You will be involved in a variety of schemes, from small building refurbishments to civil engineering projects such as road construction and earthworks.
