**Job Profile Summary**
- The
- **Offshore Wind Bid Regime Specialist** will sit in bp’s offshore wind Market Intelligence & Bid Solutions team providing specialist advice and analysis to regional business development teams to drive business excellence across bp’s offshore wind auction participation.

**Key Accountabiltiies**:

- Develop deep CoE expertise in specified bid regimes, monitoring trends, competitor activity and developing bp’s strategy for participation and success in such frameworks
- Support regional business development teams with expert advice on bid frameworks, drawing from global expertise across international offshore wind markets
- Provide best practice tools and frameworks required to deliver successful lease auction participation across geographies and auction models, leveraging lessons learned
- Provide analytical and bid expert support to help regions understand bid criteria
- Deliver regular market/competitor reporting and insights to wider bp offshore wind team and senior management with focus on bid frameworks
- Prepare decision material to senior management and steering committees
- Support portfolio management decisions with regulatory and bid framework analysis
- Attending industry events and representing bp offshore wind at senior levels
- Support bp OFW strategy and portfolio development by providing specialist analysis and advice

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Professional experience in offshore wind, with a deep understanding of regulatory and bid frameworks and strategy
- Track record in offshore wind bid management and/or bid support
- Deep understanding of the commercial/environmental/regulatory challenges for the renewable energy industry in general and preferably in offshore wind
- Relevant knowledge and ability to influence and drive decision making at all levels
- Confident communicator to a range of audiences
- Team player with ability and passion to collaborate across all levels of the organisation
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualification

**This role will be required to**:

- Work with regional offshore wind teams to support bid excellence:

- Work closely with adjoining Business Excellence and other regional offshore wind teams to drive portfolio management decisions, adoption of best practice bid tools and frameworks
- Work with bp group enablers and integrators such as Strategy, Sustainability & Ventures and group Finance and other businesses such as Hydrogen and CCUS and Trading & Shipping
- Strong team player able to establish rapport with team partners and internal and external stakeholder
