**About The Job**

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Planteria Assistant to join our team.

A keen interest in horticulture, accompanied by a sound knowledge of horticultural principles and a passion for plants, their display and upkeep is essential.

Reporting to our Outdoor Services Manager, this is a varied role, vital to the daily operation of the garden centre.

**Key Duties**
- Working as part of our Planteria team to assist in stocking the retail area, undertaking plant care and watering duties
- Assisting with inward deliveries, including accepting deliveries and distribution to relevant departments
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation at all times
- Operating a till as and when necessary
- Assisting customers in a polite, knowledgeable and welcoming manner
- Duties may include some assistance within other departments

**About You**
- Friendly, honest, reliable and flexible
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a large team
- Ability to work weekends on a rota basis is essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physically fit as lifting and manual work form a large part of this role
