We are now looking for a new Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

The main role of the Kitchen Assistant is to assist the Head Chef and kitchen team - this means getting involved in food preparation, helping to plate starters and deserts and, of course, keeping the dishes and pots and pans, as well as the kitchen, clean and tidy. You'll be helping the Chef's with those other odd-jobs that always need doing and you'll make sure the kitchen is cleaned, tidy and ready for the next day's service. The work the Kitchen Assistant does is vital to the smooth running of the kitchen.

Ideally, you'll have previous experience of working in a kitchen but don't worry if you haven't as full training can be given. All we ask is that you have a willingness to learn, have good timekeeping, a positive 'can-do' attitude and that you won't let us down.

The Meadow Inn is a popular local bar and restaurant with an unrivalled reputation for its outstanding food and exceptional levels of service.

We are flexible with hours so this role could be either PART or FULL TIME but will include working weekends and evenings. We offer competitive salary and all the usual perks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
