A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Unit for a senior Health Care Assistant.

The Endoscopy Unit within Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is JAG accredited. The service incorporates a large Endoscopy unit delivering planned and acute patient care and interventions.

The primary focus of this role is to provide an effective and high quality service in relation to the specified clinical procedures within the Endoscopy Unit. This involves undertaking a range of clinical procedures where there is a requirement to have knowledge of the procedure and deal with related non-routine activities such as dealing with complications, answering questions or monitoring progress during/following procedure.

The post holder will need to be highly organised, able to work without direct supervision and be an excellent communicator with the ability to support the team in the day to day operation of the services they provide.

Applicants must possess NVQ 3 or equivalent and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
