**MPA Recruitment **are exclusive recruitment partners to the **National Trust**. We are currently recruiting **Catering Assistants** to work at the Giants Causeway Visitors Centre located on the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Giants Causeway.
You will deliver outstanding customer service to a broad range of customers, assisting in the effective operation of the cafe. Have a positive and friendly attitude coupled with an enthusiastic approach to exceeding customer expectations.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Meeting and greeting visitors within the café
- Food preparation, for lunch menu, soups, sandwiches & salads
- Preparing fresh teas and coffees
- Keeping your workstation clean & tidy at all times
- Cash handling & use of the till
- Housekeeping duties
- Serving Customers
**Person Specification**:
- Previous experience working in a customer facing role
- Be an excellent team player
- Have strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Have a positive and friendly attitude coupled with an enthusiastic approach
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns
- Be an excellent team player
- Hold a basic food hygiene certificate would be advantageous
Various hours available;
9am to 5pm or 12noon to 4pm
Flexible working days, choose between 2x to 5x days per week.
Flexible hours: 7 - 36 per week
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
