As a Transport Analyst you will develop, co-ordinate and control the data and all reporting databases on inbound and outbound movements of aftermarket parts globally across all transport modes at the new, custom built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts LogisticsCentre at Appleby Magna (M42, J11)
**Transport Analyst Responsibilities include:**:

- Be responsible for the shipping and transportation data and reporting activities, covering road, sea and air, inbound to and/or outbound from Mercia Park
- Compile and ensure the timely and accurate completion of a suite of reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, working in conjunction with the carrier(s), warehouse operation and transport teams.
- Manage data integrity and shipment tracking from a supplier/to a customer, through carrier booking, transport movement and final mile to customer receipt.
- Manage carrier freight movements and SLAs in respect of agreed rate cards by market and mode, accurately reporting on the carrier’s performance against those contractual SLAs
- Support other inbound and outbound transportation activities when required
- Support import/export customer entries when required, ensuring these are accurate and the relevant documents collected in line with current legislation
- Identify and resolve any breach of import or export compliance and escalate this where appropriate
- Explore service improvement opportunities and cost-saving initiatives for the customer
- Support the co-ordination and management of third party freight providers on behalf of JLR for the legally compliant and timely inbound/outbound movement of car-related parts

**Transport Analyst Requirements:**
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
- Customer focus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel skills and Google Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and cope with the demands of fast-moving and changing priorities
- Strong team working and collaboration skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
