We are currently seeking a thoughtful, confident and motivated **Waiter** to join The Birnam team

The on target earning potential for this role is £27,902 / annual salary based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £21,902.40, plus a qualified estimate of £6,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

**Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role**:

- You’ll be delivering a warm and memorable dining experience for all our guests within our new The Birnam restaurant
- Serving food and beverage to our guests will be your main daily focus, across both Lunch and Dinner service
- You’ll take pride in all tasks you complete, being an essential member of the Food & Beverage service team always ensuring we’re setup for success
- Attending to any guest queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner, and with a commitment to deal with any concern in a positive way
- You’ll maintain the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout the restaurant
- Playing a significant part in making sure both the lunch and dinner operation runs without a hitch
- You’ll be proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

**The kind of person **we're looking for**:

- You have previous waiter and customer service experience, and are looking to further develop your expertise within an elevated grill style restaurant
- Having had experience within a luxtury hospitality environment would be ideal, however having a great attitude is essential
- Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
- A keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
- You want to be the best and work with the best; learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
- You have a high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
