Senior Java/Kotlin Developer - Front Office/E-Trading sought by investment bank based in the city of London.

**Inside IR35 - 3 days a week onsite hybrid working**.

**Job Description**:
Experience
- Delivered at least one large-scale project to production
- Worked in high performance cross-functional Agile software engineering teams
- Know and have practised basic Agile practices such as Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP etc, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with cross-functional roles

Profile
- Strong developer with at least 3 years of experience writing clean, production-quality code in Java or Kotlin.
- Able to work in a small and rapidly growing team across all parts of the stack.
- Familiarity with NoSql and Relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Enthusiastic about building technology that makes a difference.
- A good communicator and natural collaborator who can work with colleagues at all levels.
- Able to spot bad user experiences and suggest improvements.
- Comfortable in working with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as a code and familiar with standard logging and monitoring tools used to investigate issues.

Note: The legacy code is in Java and any new development will be in Kotlin.
