**Hospital Maintenance Assistant | Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Permanent | Leicester | Free Parking | From £22,386 DOE + Excellent Benefits**

Spire Leicester Hospital are looking to bring on an Maintenance Assistant to join their established team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, which ensures a safe environment for all Patients, Visitors, Staff and Contractors.

**Hours of work**:

- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To lead on waste management and Monitor waste against Spire policies.
- To undertake some planned preventative maintenance keeping all necessary written records up-to-date.
- To have a flexible and versatile approach to all duties.
- Carry out decorating repairs.
- To escort contractors/visitors around site when required..
- To provide in-house day to day maintenance service.
- To have the ability to prioritise all day to day maintenance work/problems and take action on requests from department relating to breakdowns/repairs as appropriate.

**What we are looking for**:

- To have a good standard of education with a proven track record of practical skills
- Good communication skills with experience in a customer focused environment
- Able to prioritise demands against resources
- To be computer literate
- Experience of working within an Engineering or Healthcare environment
