Technical Administrator

A fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant team as Technical Administrator, responsible for supporting the Technical Manager and production team with new product development to ensure all product specifications are received and product labels are generated to meet deadlines for printed packaging.

This role is either full-time or part-time position. Salary is £20,000 to £25,000 pro rata with excellent benefits including private healthcare, birthday off, car parking and company training will be provided.

Technical Administrator responsibilities:

- Creating product names and ingredients lists
- Allergen and nutritional labelling
- QUID declarations
- Product claims
- Ensuring all products meet the requirements of legal regulations.
- Assisting with process plans, HACCP and food safety risk assessments
- Logging and assisting the process of any customer complaints.
- Updating and maintain the Quality Management System
- Updating and maintaining supplier approval questionnaires

**Requirements**:

- Food labelling or food production experience (ideal)
- Qualifications in Food Technology or Food Science (beneficial)
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel)
- Proactive and logical thinker
- Great attention to detail and strong willing to learn.
