Duration: initially 3 months with the likelihood of long-term extension

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Asset Valuation Surveyor to come on board as soon as possible. You will be working along side the Estates Lead taking on a portfolio of Commercial units: Office Space, Industrial Units and Shop Units, working on disposals and providing strategic property advice when required.

**Duties will include**:

- Management of Health and safety and property compliance within the leased commercial portfolio.
- The efficient management of the commercial property Estate.
- Strategic property advice when required.
- Disposal of surplus assets.
- Property ValuationUndertake valuation of property assets for pre disposal, rental, decision making and statutory purposes.

Assist the Estates Lead in providing the annual Property Asset Valuation.

**You will need**:

- Educated to Degree level in a property related discipline.
- A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (General Practice). - Ideally
- Be a Registered valuer with the RICS or be capable of becoming a Registered Valuer. - Ideally
- Current UK Driving License
- Experience in the management of Commercial property.
- Experience of managing rent reviews, lease renewals and new lettings.
- Experience in the disposal and acquisition of heritable land and property.
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience negotiator
- Understanding of the concept of Best Value.
- Be able to motivate and manage a team of different professional and technical staff.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
