A global biotech company is seeking an experienced Interim AR Clerk to join their team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. As an Interim AR Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the accounting department, focusing on accounts receivable and billing processes. This is a full-time contract position with an expected hourly rate of £16 - £18.

**Job Duties**:

- Process credit notes, rebills, and sales ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Generate reports on accounts receivable activity and outstanding balances
- Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks or projects

**Required Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in accounts receivable or billing
- AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification or equivalent

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and principles
- Proficient in processing credit notes, rebills, and sales ledger invoices
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software and systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
