Glasgow, United Kingdom Roland Europe Group Ltd Full time

**ROLAND STORE PRODUCT SPECIALIST**

**Full Time**
**Job Title**: Roland Store Product Specialist
**Based**:GuitarGuitar Music Store Glasgow
**The Company**: Roland Europe Group Ltd

**Do you have a passion for music and a desire to share your enthusiasm with others?**

**Do you play piano/keyboards to a good standard, perhaps in addition to other instruments?**

**Can you deliver fantastic customer experiences—and results—working alongside an experienced retail team?**

If so, we want to hear from you.

Roland Stores are dedicated areas within leading music retailers worldwide. Each Roland Store is managed by a fully trained Roland Product Specialist, who works closely with the wider store team to deliver superior customer experiences.

As a Roland Store Product Specialist, your job is to create an environment where you can take someone’s aspirations and turn them into reality by showing them the perfect products from Roland, BOSS or V-MODA.

It’s all about creating (and managing) an exciting, inspiring Roland space; through demonstrations of the latest products, instore and online events with key influencers, product “gurus”, local artists, and regular social media activity. Every day is an opportunity to turn a Roland Store visitor into a lifelong Roland customer whatever it takes.

**Role Purpose**:
We’re looking for a Roland Store Product Specialist who really understands customers and can help find the perfect solution to their needs.

Although you’ll usually be the person that customers meet in the Roland Store, it’s also your job to ensure that everyone else on the guitarguitar Store team is equally able to deliver the perfect Roland experience. Any previous teaching or training experience would be invaluable in this role.

Events—whether online or instore—are a key part of attracting customers to the Roland Store. Whether livestreaming,1-2-1 appointments, offering hints, tips and advice, or hosting an instore event with a local artist, your ability to deliver exciting events for customers is essential; you need to be as comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind it.

You will, of course, be an accomplished and skilled salesperson, with a desire to grow the retail business while consistently delivering Roland’s high standards of customer service. You’ll also need to handle a variety of digital marketing tasks, as well as performing the usual requirements of running a retail store; from presentation to stock control to regular reporting.

**Key qualifications**
- The ability to deliver a fantastic customer-focused experience in a busy environment, whether online or offline, resulting in sales growth
- A strong interest in music, with the ability to play at least one musical instrument, ideally including piano/keyboards.
- A good understanding of music technology—particularly Roland and BOSS products—and the ability to absorb new information readily and easily; and be able to pass this knowledge on to others
- Sales experience, ideally in a retail environment.
- The communication skills to comfortably converse, build relationships and interact appropriately with individuals, customers, and the host store team—at all levels
- Experience in planning, organising and implementing events—online or offline—using the usual social media channels
- The ability to react to challenges while remaining calm
- The confidence and organisational skills to manage all aspects of a busy retail environment, being the sole Roland link between the host store and Roland HQ

**What you can expect from us**
- Competitive benefits package

**How to apply**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Day shift
