Day shift: Monday - Thursday 07.30-16.00 and Friday 07.30-12.20

To prepare work for delivery to suppliers and customers, to accept goods inwards and deliver goods via Elanders Ltd transport, control stock, issue paper, ensuring customer requirements and company standards are adhered to.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- To control and issue paper as per demand for the Litho and Digital departments, and liaise with production for demand.
- To accept goods inwards and ensure they are ‘booked in’.
- To update and manage the stock system and to carry out a stock take as required.
- To read and understand all the delivery instructions from the works job ticket.
- To output delivery notes from the computer system.
- To use Counterbalance and High Reach Fork Lift Truck vehicles with due care and attention.
- Issue paper to the relevant departments
- allocating paper and deducting paper from the system as per job requirements.
- Prepare pallets for the delivery
- wrapping pallets.
- Organise courier deliveries.
- To ensure that quality and environmental standards are adhered to, working with KPI’s and meeting targets.
- To prepare goods in a safe and secure manner for delivery, and observe company Health and Safety policies, and be knowledgeable with regards to all Elanders policies and procedures, relating to the Despatch department.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for the Despatch team.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Shift Factory Manager.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience working in Despatch/Wareroom in current or previous role(s).
- Competent IT skills: basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Packages
- Word and Excel, MIS Systems and online delivery courier websites.
- Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Licence: Reach and Counterbalance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
