**Key Responsibilities**:

- Learn manufacture and testing of control systems including, hardware and software solutions using PLC and SCADA systems and embedded systems as appropriate that will include:

- Engineering design and support
- Manufacture of equipment to agreed project Documentation
- Hardware testing
- Functional testing
- On occasion attend client’s sites for installation, testing and commissioning services
- Work across departments to build on their knowledge, skills and experience across the business
- Attend college weekly/as necessary - be punctual, be professional and meet deadlines
- Complete in-house training, basic bench skills and basic awareness courses eg manual handing and H&S.

**Person Specification**:

- NVQ in Electrical & Electronic Engineering level 3 BTEC
- Higher National Certificate, CCNSG, BOSIET, GWO, MIST
- GCSE Grade C or above in English (Language or Literature) or equivalent
- Having excellent communication skills
- Being self-motivated and proactive
- Being able to work with a team
- Having a genuine interest in developing a career
- Having organisational skills, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Having high attention to details
