Trainee Sewing Machinist

**Armthorpe, Doncaster, UK**

**Full time, permanent role**

**Monday - Friday rotating shifts**:
**05:30 - 13:45 and 13:45 - 22:00**

**£11.85 per hour plus comprehensive benefits**

**Let’s take it on**

As a Trainee Sewing Machinist or Seamstress, you will be trained and supported by our in-house experts in various techniques, including lockstitch, overlock and topstitch using industrial machinery. You will be creating entire sofa and chair covers from start to finish, so will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work against pattern instructions, adapting and repairing fabric cuts as and when required.

If you are not familiar with Upholstery or have only ever worked with garments or other têxtiles, don’t worry, our team is ready to support you in your journey to becoming a fully trained specialist using step by step, engaging training materials.

**Salary**: From £11.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38.75 per week
