Part Qualified Accountant

Have you commenced your ACCA / CIMA studies? Do you have at least 2 years experience at Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant level? Are you able to keep up with the demand of an accounting function in manufacturing?

Partnering with this têxtile manufacturer in Oldham, we're looking for a dynamic Site Accountant.

Ideally you'll be actively studying and will want to build yourself a career with one business.

About You
- It's essential that you've worked as either an Assistant Accountant or similar for at least two years.
- You'll have a working knowledge and hands on experience of monthly / yearly reporting, forecasting and costings.
- You've got to be commercially astute and be forensic in your approach.
- This is a hands-on role where you'll regularly be on the shop floor, liaising with engineers, managers and production staff to get to the bottom of any wastage / costings issues; you must be robust and have the ability to converse with people at all levels.
- It's important that you're part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA so as to conform with the rest of the accounts team.

About The Job
- You'll join as an Accountant and will be a key player in the finance team.
- Along with the team you'll be instrumental in ensuring that the month / year end accounts are finalised in a timely manner.
- The role involves lots of reporting, analysis and forecasting, of which, you'll need prior experience.
- You'll work with external auditors when required.
