**Fabricator - IMMEDIATE START**

Empire Fabrications Ltd are looking for talented and conscientious Fabricator/Welders to join our ever-expanding team to work out of our workshop in Hoo.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, friendly, hard-working, growing team. You will be required to fabricate and weld all types of architectural steel including gates, railings, balustrades, staircases and structural steel.

**Job requirements**
- 1 + years’ experience & knowledge of structural & architectural fabrication and steelwork.
- Must be able to MIG weld to the highest standard. (Previous coding’s are a bonus but not a necessity).
- Attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work consistently.
- Needs to be able to read and work from fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of and respect for current Health & Safety requirements.
- Impeccable timekeeping.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to work to deadlines.
- Reliability is essential.

**Helpful skills (Not necessity)**
- Forklift license.
- TIG weld.
- ARC weld.
- Use of band saw.

**Job Type**: Self Employed. Minimum 47.5 hours a week

Hours: 9.5-hour day, 5-day week with ½ hour lunch & 30 minutes break (0700 - 1700 Mon - Fri) Weekday and weekend over time is usually available.

**Salary**: £14.00-£17.00 per hour.
