Hairdresser

We have a fantastic opportunity for a hard working, passionate and motivated Hairdresser who is looking to join our recently expanded busy village salon in Launton.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is well presented and polite. You will need to work well within a team and provide support to the daily running of the Salon

We would require NVQ Level 2 qualification as a minimum, NVQ Level 3 is preferred. We are able to offer flexible hours and days.

Our pay structure works as a commission rate and our current Stylists and Senior Stylists are earning an average of between £14.00-£18.00 per hour. This is an employed position and includes paid holiday (at your hourly rate).

We are a Milkshake Hair UK Salon and Certificated Racoon International Hair Extension Specialist Salon. We encourage continued development in the salon with colour and cutting courses, hair extension courses and HD Brow training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair
- Offer excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques

**Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 2/3 in Hairdressing
- Proven experience as a hair stylist or barber
- Proficient in a wide range of hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- You will need to have the ability to build a loyal clientele quickly with new and existing clients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Hairdressing: 1 year (preferred)
