**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- To carry out primary and secondary installation and service activities on HV wound plant and equipment.
- Work on multiple customer substation and industrial sites primarily throughout UK, both onshore and offshore.
- Leading a ‘Working Party’ installing primary and secondary plant and associated equipment.
- Working to the highest standard of safety and quality, and representing SE Transmission Service in a professional manner
- Contributing & supporting Service Centre Operational tasks as required.

POSITION IN ORGANISATION
- Reports to the transformer service Senior Operations Engineer.
- May directly coordinate works for a specific work package or team of installation staff including subcontracted activities.

SCOPE OF JOB
- To be responsible and accountable for installation of High Voltage Wound Plant manufactured by Siemens and other transformer manufacturers.
- To carry out service activities on wound plant and associated equipment including primary and secondary work.
- As the Competent Person to lead Working Party activities where necessary i.e., Permit Holder or Technical lead.
- To ensure that all staff within the working party always undertake their duties in compliance with company and client policies and procedures.
- To ensure that a safe working environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies, and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation.
- Monitor site team and subcontractor general performance and quality of workmanship.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to a satisfactory quality and technical standard.
- Contribute towards promoting innovation to continuously improve productivity.
- Participate in training and development to maintain competency in respect to product training, HSE training, authorisations, supervisory training and plant and equipment operating courses.
- Support apprentice development.
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate levels of housekeeping.
- Ensure all appropriate installation and commissioning records are completed and signed off.
- Liaise with project manager including reporting any difficulties in carrying out the programme of works in respect to delays, document / drawing issues, manpower / material / equipment shortages or issues.
- Plans day to day work activities, anticipates potential issues and proactively address them in conjunction with the senior operations engineer.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are established and maintained within the work area.

**Your Profile**
- Experience working on electrical substations, construction sites or other mechanical and electrical industries
- Installation, Service or Manufacture of HV Wound Plant.
- Erection of primary plant and secondary installations within the T&D industry.
- Understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
