Gloucestershire College are looking for
**Invigilators **to join our team to support exams at Cheltenham and Cinderford.

As an invigilator, you will join a team of invigilation staff providing an exams experience to all our students that is conducted in accordance with the regulations that govern the security and integrity of examinations and Gloucestershire College policies.

The hours for the role are variable and would suit part time working. On average, and depending on your availability, you could work 9-15 hours per week, with more hours available in peak months (November, January, March, May and June).

You would be paid for the hours that you work at the College and would be provided with as much notice as possible for any invigilation work available.

Main responsibilities include:

- To have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the external examination/assessment process.
- Keep confidential exam question papers and materials secure before, during and after exams
- Ensure exam rooms are set up according to the requirements
- Accurately record and complete all relevant examination documentation including digital and paper attendance registers, supervision reports, examination logs etc
- Securely return all examination scripts and materials to the Exams Office.
- Undertake training, update and review sessions as required to achieve competence in the role and a rigorous understanding of JCQ, awarding body and College regulations
- Responsible for ensuring personal compliance with Data Protection policy and legislations
- Undertake, where required and where able, other exams-related administrative tasks
