**A successful Independent Civils and Utilities company in the Southwest is looking for you**
**On offer is a starting salary of 24k or more if you are a great match for the role.**
**Working hours are Monday to Friday
- 8.30am - 5pm or could start earlier at 7.30am and finish earlier.**
A great match would have Utilities and construction Industry knowledge, especially in the areas of streetworks, and streetworks permits, submitting road permits, tarmac requests, PPE, scheduling, keeping on top of tickets and data inputting.
**Day to day the role will involve**:
- Receive job from clients, collate necessary information and input to management system.
- Create job folders for site teams.
- Allocate jobs to tablets for site staff via management system.
- Scheduling jobs to planner & keeping planner up to date when jobs change.
- Co-ordination of the operatives, ensuring they have corrected details to complete the jobs.
- Ensure job folders are updated with information fed back from site staff.
- Use of computer software (predominantly Microsoft Office) to produce and manage reports, raise requests and closedown information
- Interact with various areas of our business and our suppliers.
- Coding & cross-referencing weekly timesheets.
- General administration duties i.e. PPE, stationary ordering
- Providing administrative support to the team
- Liaising with the project team to close down jobs using the client specific systems
- Support project team booking and coordinating Streetworks.
**The ideal person will have**:
- Have a great telephone manner.
- Be computer literate, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and be able to work self-directed and be self-organised
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure when needed.
- Ideally have experience in a similar role in utilities or construction based working.
- Dynamic and pro-active approach to working and assisting the project team delivery work effectively and efficiently
- A team player with good organisational skills
- Attention to detail.
