**Main Responsibilities**:
To work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.

**Cleaning**
- Ensure the highest possible levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the Home.
- Adhering to COSHH guidlines.
- Ensure the highest possible levels of cleanliness are maintained within specific allocated or assigned areas.
- Restock soaps, hand towels etc as and when required.
- Restock kitchen cleaning products including hand wash and black bags.
- Restock soap powder and fabric softener in laundry.
- Adhere to agreed cleaning rota on daily and monthly basis.
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath / behind.
- Any other duties deemed reasonable by Manager.

**Laundry**
- Sort washing into relevant groups, and process it through the washer, drier and iron. Keeping clean and dirty linen separate within the laundry area.
- Bedding, Towels, Clients’ personal laundry, Serviettes, Tea towels should be kept separate and appropriately. Sluice washes to be put in the washing machines after all other laundry has been completed. Mop heads to be washed in the machine at the end of the shift.
- Ensure the laundry room is clean and tidy. On a daily basis wash down washers, dryers and laundry bags; clean lint trays/ vents and mop floors.
- Keep linen stored neatly in the clean area of the laundry.
- Perform minor repairs to Clients’ clothing.
- Ensure that clothes are marked with the Client’s name and placed in the appropriate boxes after they have been laundered.

Must have domestic or laundry experience.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 23 per week

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
