**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- To welcome customers and establish their needs and recommend appropriate products and services to fulfil them
- To present the fosters propositions in line with SOPs and ensure the customers are clearly guided to the best outcome for them.
- To be available to meet requests from customers and to conduct visits during normal office hours and where necessary to assist in moving deceased within the Funeral Home, in preparation for customer’s to visit.
- To realise opportunities to offer the full range of products and services available to customers (including Masonry and Pre-Payment Plans) adopting a sensitive approach at all times whilst dealing with enquiries relating to funeral products and services ensuring that expectations are managed at all times
- To collect all necessary information, including payment details, required to progress the customer’s enquiry or sale.
- Ensure all systems are updated in a timely manner and liaise carefully with the logistics and wider funeral teams when arranging funerals
- To liaise with Clergy, Local Authorities and other organisations for the securing of essential outside funeral related services.
- To produce and send invoices, take payments and administer cash in the funeral home, as well as, to implement any current instruction regarding separate cash and cheque procedures.
- To input/complete funeral and associated services data/information, and to check for accuracy.
- To undertake training and development to improve own skills and knowledge in order to carry out duties to the standard required.
- To secure premises and assets and to assist in cleaning duties/general housekeeping within both public and private areas of the Funeral Home ensuring that the line manager is advised of any building/equipment maintenance requirements.
- To organise and control the administrative and clerical processes within the Funeral Home.
- To promote and enhance the fosters brand and reputation

**Regulated Duties and Responsibilities**
- You must read, understand and comply with relevant conduct roles and notify the firm of any actual, suspected or impending breach of conduct rules.
- You must successfully complete all FCA regulated training that is assigned to you, alongside fulfilling required 15 CPD hours each year.

**General Duties & Responsibilities**
- ** Health & Safety**:All employees are required to adhere to Health & Safety Regulations and ensure best practice is met by both themselves and their colleagues
- ** Conduct**:All employees are required to conduct themselves in a professional manner in accordance with company policies and codes of conduct as outlines in the employee handbook
- ** Quality**:All employees are expected to work within the systems, processes and procedures outlined within the department and / or company handbooks, or software platforms or training manuals
- ** Flexibility**: A degree of flexibility is required from all employees to meet the needs of the role, team, department and the wider company
