Role: Recruitment Specialist / Talent Acquisition

Location: Gloucestershire

Contract length: Initial term 3 - 6 months

I am working with a Gloucestershire based manufacturer with an international presence who are expanding their recruitment team and are seeking a Resourcing & Development Consultant to join them on a contract basis.

Position Overview:

- Support the UK Recruitment and Development activities across multiple sites across the UK. Supporting the HR Resourcing and Development Manager by ensuring business targets and functional objectives are effectively met.
- This role forms part of the wider UK HR Shared Services team based and will involve some travel to other UK sites.

Key Accountabilities:
Recruitment
- Provide professional support and advice on recruitment to line managers to include advising on best practice recruitment and selection techniques
- Increase management capability to a point where managers are capable of conducting interviews and making selection decisions without regular support from HR
- Provide advice and support on recruitment related tools including job descriptions, person specifications and assessment tools
- Create and evaluate recruitment related communication, marketing and branding initiatives including job advertisements which are in line with the requirements of the business and campaign
- Develop creative solutions to deliver on recruitment opportunities utilising the most appropriate route to market including direct sourcing
- Develop the approach to attracting Apprentices, Interns and Graduates development
