**QUALITY SYSTEMS SPECIALIST**

**BAND 7**

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following skills knowledge and experience:
Advanced specialist knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems and the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practise. Knowledge of the manufacture and aseptic preparation of sterile products.

Expertise and practical knowledge in - Quality Assurance and Quality Management.

Good Manufacturing Practise and the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a Pharmaceutical Quality Management System. Operation of cleanroom and associated equipment for the aseptic preparation of clinical product. Preparation and management of controlled documentation. Operating under a Manufacturing ‘Specials’ (MS) licence. Audit by Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) or other regulatory body.

Experience in the production of Radiopharmaceuticals would be beneficial.

State registration as a Clinical Scientist or willingness to engage in a process leading to state registration within a regulated profession is required.

You will work 37.50 hours a week, Monday to Friday, within the core operational hours of the PET RPU which are 04:30 to 14:30 Monday to Friday. The PET RPU is located on the Gartnavel Hospital Campus.
