The Eventus Recruitment Group are actively seeking an engaged, professional and high calibre Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist Legal or Finance recruitment divisions, working either from our offices in Lancaster or Wilmslow (with hybrid working available)

The successful Recruitment Consultant will be given unrivalled training and support from our highly successful and dynamic team. We are looking for ambitious individuals who are looking for a rewarding, fast paced and varied career within recruitment.

Taking over a warm, successful patch (still with the ability to make your own mark), you will be dealing with all aspects of the recruitment cycle. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- To build, manage and grow Client relationships, specialising in either legal or financial recruitment across a specified geographical region
- To contribute to the strategic direction of the business through identifying and creating commercial 'recruitment solutions’ for new business wins
- To identify and maximise new business opportunities in existing clients and leverage all commercial opportunities across major key accounts
- To achieve specific new business targets and growth goals
- To fulfil Client briefs in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Increasing awareness of the both the Eventus Recruitment Group brand and your own personal brand in the local area via social media, networking and sponsorship events

We are welcoming applicants with at least 1 years’ work experience within a transferrable discipline that has allowed you to develop excellent communication (written and verbal), client services skills, and a strong desire for success. You will have a strong education pedigree, be results-focussed and have a drive to succeed within a rewarding industry where you can personally make an impact. Perseverance is needed to achieve the best results, so resilience, persistence and determination is key. You don’t need recruitment experience, but you do need the work ethic and commitment to develop skills in a new career. Sales experience would be a bonus, but a sales-mindset is essential.

How will you be rewarded?

As well as a competitive basic salary we offer an excellent commission structure that is uncapped and rewards your individual hard work and determination. We also offer:

- Excellent training tailored to your individual needs but will give you the tools and skills to progress your career within the business. Initial intensive programme lasting 3 months, with continuous professional development thereafter. We have a real focus on upskilling and developing our team, throughout their careers with us
- 25 days holiday plus an extra day either for your birthday or to do your Christmas shopping, rising with service up to 30 days. Plus, the ability to buy and sell extra holidays, as well as long-service awards of an extra 3 and 5 days at years 5 and 10.
- Christmas closure, and you don’t have to save holiday allowance
- Office based with hybrid working
- Up to 3 days per year as paid leave to undertake CSR projects
- "Work from anywhere" for up to 2 weeks a year (at your own expense, but if you are working, no reduction from your holiday allowance)
