Kennel Assistant

**Kennel Assistant Required**

We have a job vacancy for a full time kennel assistant on a temporary contract from February 2023 to October 2023. We are looking for someone to join our team of reliable, hardworking, animal loving employees. Harkers Barkers Kennels is a family run business offering only the very best standards of care. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
Excellent care and welfare of the dogs.

Maintaining a clean environment.

Providing daily exercise, play time and enrichment for the dogs.

Feeding appropriate diets.

Administer and document medication when required.

Reception/admin duties.

Enjoy physical work in the outdoors and be prepared to work in all weather and conditions.

Show clients around the facilities.

Have a flexible and positive attitude.

**Applicants Requirements**:
Animal Care/Management course Level 3 and/or minimum 1 years experience of working in boarding kennels or similar environment.

Canine First Aid is preferred but not essential.

Full Driving licence and own transport.

**Position Details**:
Full-time position

5 days a week (Monday to Sunday)

**Required to work two weekends in every four.**

**Bank holiday work required.**

Working hours:
Monday - Saturday

7.30am - 12pm

2 pm - 5pm

Sunday

7.30 am - 12 pm

2 pm - 4 pm
