Day Shift Order Assembler/production Worker

We are looking for a Day Shift Order Assembler/Production Worker (meat/cheese) to join our busy order assembly/production team to assist them with fresh and cooked meat/cheese orders reporting to the Factory Manager.

**The responsibilities**
- Packaging and labelling meat and meat/cheese products to customer and company specifications.
- Assembling customer orders as per instructions on picking notes.
- Making sure all orders are processed in time for delivery to the customers.
- To use any machinery that is necessary in the course of your work (after adequate training).
- To ensure that the loading dock area is kept clean and tidy.
- To follow a "clean as you go" policy as defined in the company cleaning schedule.
- To ensure personal standards and performance are maintained in accordance with company policies, codes of practice and pre-determined targets.
- To ensure company policies on Health & Safety, Quality, Hygiene and Due Diligence are met during all duties and activities.
- To carry out any other duties as reasonably required.

**Hours & Rate of pay**

Monday to Friday 6.00am start with cover required till 4.45pm when needed.

Saturdays 6.00am to 12 noon on a rota basis (if work a Saturday get a day off during the week)

40 hours per week, £11.15 per hour and £13.15 for hours worked over 40
