**Backshift HGV Fueller and Washer**

Full time permanent Position

40 hours per week

£27,040 per annum

13:00 to 23:30 earning £13PH

Our local waste management and haulage business which boasts its own garage function is seeking an experienced HGV Fuller and washer.

As an HGV fuller and washer you will work on a backshift to fuel all vehicles and wash them down ready for their day of serving our customers the following day. An HGV licence is advantageous as you will be required to move the vehicles around the yard.

You will:

- Ensure vehicles and fuelled and washed whilst adhering to all safety procedures on site.
- Ensure all tyre repairs and replacements are carried out on all makes of vehicles to
- Ensure H & S Regulations and safe systems of work are adhered to
- Use specialist tools in accordance with H & S guidelines
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently and returned to office or vehicle as required
- Assist with Special projects if required
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the Workshop
- Report to Workshop Supervisor when work is completed
- Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of products and attend training courses as required
- Adopt the company safety culture and effective housekeeping, including wearing of PPE at all times in Workshop and Yard areas;
- A relevant mechanical qualification (e.g. City and Guilds, NVQ) or equivalent experience
- A valid HGV licence is preferred
- Experience working with HGV vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
