Quality Inspector

**Duties**:

- **1.** Performs first-Off, Patrol and final inspections, as directed.

**2.** Program/operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

**3.** Read and interpret drawings and specifications

**4.** Visually inspect components for surface defects

**5.** Recommend rejection, rework, or re-test, as required

**6.** Reports inspection findings and results on the computer in MRP system

**7.** Generates non-conforming material reports (NCR) for items non-conforming items

**8.** Maintain records and prepares all paperwork relating to inspection and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s).

**9.** Produce FAIR’s as and when required

**10.** Maintain adequate measuring equipment and inspection fixture requirements

**11.** Makes recommendations for improvements, where needed

**12.** Supports the continuing 5-S and Lean manufacturing initiatives

Skills and Experience:

- Experience interpreting and working to customer drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of First Principle measurement techniques
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Good knowledge of FAIR process
- Ability to operate a CMM.
- Good computer skills
