**About the Job**

Unipart Logistics (UL) are currently working on the successful implementation of a new contract - Airbus - and as our Operational Excellent Support Practitioner you will support the onsite OpEx team in deploying OpEx and Digital technologies into the operation, delivering value and positive outcomes measured through Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery indicators. You will help to coordinate and deliver process improvement projects aligned to agreed business priorities.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

- Lead and deliver continuous improvement activities to improve operational performance and enhance colleague capability in the use of Unipart Way tools and techniques
- Deliver tangible and validated financial savings through OpEx and Digital delivery
- Use OpEx and UL Digital tools to deliver ‘Right First Time’ principles into operations
- Learn, share, and adopt best practice within the Logistics division and wider business
- Support the delivery of the site Unipart Way Plan alongside the OpEx Manager and operational owners
- Act as mentor and coach for peers and high potential colleagues, ensuring there is a strong pipeline of succession
- Support and coach Team Leaders and Operational Managers with their personal development accreditation programmes, particularly OpEx elements where applicable

**About You**
- Lean Practitioner - working experience of lean / Continuous Improvement techniques
- Proven logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data - analytical
- Good understanding of problem-solving tools (8D’s, 5Y’s, fishbone etc)
- Good MS Excel Skills (incl. PivotTables & VLookups)
- Ability to cope with the demands of a fast-moving and ever-changing set of priorities
- Strong team player - ability to work collaboratively
- Target / results driven - understanding of KPI's & SLA's
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Assertive and possesses an ability to influence
- Confidence and competence in dealing with multiple stakeholders across a range of management levels
- Shows an attention to detail with a right first time attitude
