**Working with**:Clients, Visitors, Operations & Clinical team

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm or 10am-6pm - with some variations

**Salary**:£22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team.

**What you will do**:
**What you are responsible for**:

- Ensuring the smooth flow of clinical and administrative work
- Checking all client forms and completing consent forms
- Advising clients of relevant assessment details
- Adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection Act (1984) ensuring confidentiality is always maintained
- Answering the phone when required
- Ensuring all client rooms are prepared with a welcome pack
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all clinic and client areas
- Ensuring client and clinic timings are followed accurately and updating the schedules online accordingly
- Acting as a chaperone when required (training will be given if needed).
- Taking bloods *
- Taking basic observations: BP, pulse, temperature, height, weight and BMI
- Conducting body composition tests on InBody 970 *
- Carrying out tonometry and audiometry *
- Carrying out spirometry*
- Organising FIT tests and tracking results
- Assisting the lead nurse with the client schedule for the day and helping to adapt this schedule when deemed necessary.
- Chasing client blood test results from laboratory if needed and ensuring results are available for the doctors
- Escorting clients into consultations / tests where appropriate
- Managing the client amenities (tracksuit, slippers, water bottle, masks) and manage the stock levels
- Managing incoming and outgoing laundry
- Managing stock takes and orders for required supplies
- Checking and restocking doctor consultation rooms as needed
- Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and reporting any problems or malfunctions to senior members of staff
