You will play a pivotal role with the delivery and development of UHNM Charity’s internal and community fundraising. You will meet agreed annual income and performance targets. You will be responsible overseeing of Charity Volunteers and Charity Champions across the Trust, with a specific focus on County Hospital, Stafford.

Support the Charity, UHNM staff, the Charity volunteers and champions to ensure they can fulfil their charity/fundraising roles to deliver the internal and community fundraising plan to achieve annual targets.

Be responsible for current and new community fundraising activities including recruiting, supporting and developing volunteer fundraisers (in aid of events). Growing the number and value of Charity collections and static collection box sites, run raffles and games of chance. Support UHNM Charity, the Charity volunteers including UHNM staff and champions to ensure they add value to all Charity community fundraising, with regular meetings to evaluate the value of such activities and ensure continued growth in these areas. Support the fundraising team and volunteer fundraisers (in aid of events) in order that they generate the most income possible and generate future support.

Recruit and support volunteers such as collection box swappers and volunteer fundraisers.

Assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of community fundraising activities; achieving targets. Meeting regularly with the fundraising team to discuss their progress and regularly meeting with the Head of Charity to discuss findings and strategy and planning moving forwards.
