**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
**Are you looking for a flexible role to work around your current commitments?**

**We are recruiting for **a bank Support Worker** in **Perth** City Centre.**

As a Support Worker you will support R, a gentleman with an acquired brain injury and COPD, to live his best life possible while helping him maintain his independence.

R is a fun, kind and caring man who enjoys the outdoors and likes walking, going to the gym, cycling and swimming. R also enjoys watching movies, playing pool and listening to the radio and is looking for a new staff member to support and encourage him in his activities.

In addition to this, R needs some support to promote his independence, such as:

- Helping him with his daily routines
- Assisting him to mobilise
- Promoting access to his local area and to build and maintain personal connections
- Administering medication
- Helping him manage his home and finances

R's staff support him 1:1 and his shifts start at 10am and finish at 10am the following day, with a sleepover included. **Due to the shift pattern available, this role is unsuitable for student visa holders.**
