**Overview**:
Nestled within the breathtaking area of outstanding natural beauty, our Abingworth Hall country house proudly boasts 30 elegantly appointed bedrooms, providing a serene retreat for up to 49 guests embarking on guided or self-guided tour holidays. We have an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and versatile maintenance professional to take on a variety of tasks to keep everything running seamlessly at our enchanting Abingworth Hall country house.

**About the role**:

- As the Maintenance Person, your role will involve handling day-to-day maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, heating, pool plant care, carpentry, and electrics.
- You will team up with the Area Maintenance Manager for special projects throughout the house, showcasing your expertise in action.
- We would like you to champion a culture of Health and Safety compliance, working closely with the House Manager to ensure the house meets the highest standards.
- Our new Maintenance person will Partner with the House Gardener or contract gardener, ensuring the garden area remains picturesque, through tasks like mending fences, tending to external lights, and maintaining walls.
- We need you to stay at the forefront of your field with up-to-date maintenance qualifications, ready to conquer varying
- You can expect to collaborate with the House Manager to streamline maintenance costs, implementing effective cost-saving measures.
- Every individual in our team embraces the role of House staff, offering valuable support to the House team as needed.
- Crucially, your friendly nature and commitment to exceptional customer service will ensure every guest experiences the utmost comfort in and around the house.

**What are we looking for?**
- Recent hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, pool plant maintenance, or a related trade - your expertise is our strength
- A 'can-do' attitude that embraces challenges with enthusiasm and a flexible approach to handle diverse tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a work environment.
- Effective communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
