Dispensing Assistant

Duties:
- Assist the pharmacist in the dispensing of medications to patients in a Community pharmacy setting.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and providing information about medications.
- Prepare and package medications for distribution to patients.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient profiles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and patient care.
- Utilise medical terminology and knowledge of critical care and acute care settings to accurately dispense medications.
- Administer medications through inhalation as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a dispensing assistant or above is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
