**About the role**
HS2’s station construction partner, Balfour Beatty VINCI Systra joint venture (BBVS) is
leading the construction of HS2’s new Old Oak Common Station. Set to be the best
connected and largest new railway stations ever built in the UK, Old Oak Common will
become one of the country’s most vital transport super hubs. The station will have 14
platforms, a mix of six high speed and eight conventional service platforms, with an 850m
- long station box. It is expected to be one of the busiest railway stations in the country with
high-speed rail services to the midlands, Scotland and the North and access to central
London and Heathrow via the Crossrail Elizabeth Line. You can read more about Old Oak

**What you'll be doing**
As a/an **JOB TITLE**, you will have the following accountabilities:
The Site Masterplan is the set of phased drawings setting out which party will occupy which
part of the site at a given time. Whilst the Old Oak Common Station worksite is very large,
the works to be delivered rapidly reduce the space available for actual construction along with
support spaces such as haul roads and storage. Fixed equipment and facilities such as site
entrance, Old Oak House office/welfare block, the spoil conveyor all reduce space available
and flexibility in their various locations adding to the challenge.
Furthermore, major interfaces with other HS2 contracts, especially S1 (Tunnels to Euston),
S2 (Tunnels towards Birmingham from OOC) and High-Speed Rail Systems (HSRS or HRS)
require integration into the plan for their works in the Old Oak Common Station worksite.
This role is to be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the site masterplan and to
lead the resolution of issues as and when they arise from the various reasons set out above.

**Who we're looking for**
You will have the following:

- Experience of managing the construction interfaces of significant value packages of work on comparable major project infrastructure works
- Capable of working with multiple teams & disciplines on a variety of issues at the same time
- Knowledge and experience of construction processes
- Able to balance multiple conflicting issues and resolve them into the best outcome for the project.
- Organised, clear of thought and able to see the big picture
- Able to develop key relationships to positively affect delivery
- Degree Qualified
