**Warehouse Operative**

**Key Responsibilities**
- To be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others by adhering to safe working practices.
- Ensure all customers, drivers and visitors dealt with promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Goods In: Unload deliveries, check the quantity and quality of goods and safely store in warehouse or yard in line with Company procedures.
- Order Fulfilment - Accurately pick, pack and label customer orders in line with Company Procedures - requires manual handling.
- Dispatch - Load Lorries and ensure paperwork has the necessary signatures in line with Company procedures.
- Check the quantity and quality of any goods returned in line with Company procedures.
- To carry out duties accurately and in line with the Key Performance Indicators.
- To carry out general housekeeping, maintenance and hygiene duties, to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard
- Undertake stock takes in an accurate manner

**The Person**
- Have experience of warehouse picking
- Be numerate and computer literate & be able to work accurately at all times
- A good timekeeper with a high level of commitment
- A confident person with the ability to work consistently as part of a team
- Ability to work under your own initiative in a time critical environment
- Must have a positive attitude to work
- An effective communicator with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels

**Qualifications**
- Basic Maths
- FLT licence - counterbalance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,400.00 per year
