Existing knowledge of woodwork equipment, laser cutters and a workshop environment is desirable however we are able to provide training where necessary; willingness to complete such training is essential.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating & maintaining machinery/equipment within the department ensuring they meet H & S requirements.
- Implementing Health and Safety regulations and sound working practices.
- Ensuring the tidiness and cleanliness of the ADT rooms, workshops and other work areas under the technician's control.
- Assist and provide help and advice to best ability where necessary to students during practical lessons.
- Assist with department displays.
- Preparing project material.
