Retail Sales Assistant

This is a role with opportunities of growth towards the role of Sales Consultant.

A few of the responsibilities of the role include:

- Cashing up.
- Assisting with order requirements
- Receiving, counting, displaying, and storing replenished stock.
- Monitoring stock levels.
- As a key holder, you may be responsible for setting the alarm and ensuring the shop is securely locked.
- Supporting other staff in the advice to customers on the most appropriate product for them based on the customers needs
- Assisting in Dealing with customer complaints.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Reporting to the Store Manager on store performance, and ideas on how to improve sales and achieve targets.
- Always maintaining a smart appearance.
- Ensuring stock is displayed to a high standard.
- House Keeping

Key Qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised and work confidently in lone working environments.
- Ability to deliver great customer experiences in a very active environment and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.
- Strong interest in technology, and agility at learning new products and features.
- Strong communication skills that let you converse as freely and comfortably with small groups as with individual customers.

Additional Requirements
- You have strong people skills — you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
- You'll also need to have a good phone manner, as you'll need to answer the store phone when customer calls/queries come through
- You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule in turn for us being flexible with yours, despite flexible hours being available. Overtime may be required at times for holiday and sickness cover.
- Able to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Fast learner
- Having experience / knowledge in Electronic Cigarettes is ideal but not essential as full training is provided

**About the role**:

- Part Time
- 16 - 25 hours
- Competitive basic salary & bonus scheme.
