**Core Competencies**:
**Technical Skills and Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in reading and understanding layout, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of quality standards and ability to complete and record quality documentation.
- Skilled in various pipe bending techniques for different sizes and materials.
- Competent in pipe fabrication, including working with metal and non-metal pipes and fittings.
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of general workshop machinery and hand tools, including light plate work, profile cutting, and laying to boards.

**Specialized Techniques**:

- Ability to use specific types of couplings (e.g., Straub, Teekay) and fittings (e.g., Walform, Swagloc).
- Skilled in various welding processes (MMA, MIG, TIG) and in soldering and brazing techniques.
- Competence in threading pipes and fittings, and conducting pipe surveys and inspections.

**Operational Proficiency**:

- Experienced in the removal and installation of all pipe systems up to 12 inches.
- Skilled in pressure testing of pipes and systems.
- Proficient in cutting techniques using Oxy Gas, Plasma Arc, and Profile cutter machines.
- Ability to perform pipe prepping both by machine and manually.

**Problem Solving and Communication**:

- Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively.
- Ability to liaise with external and internal organizations, providing guidance to other employees within their area of competence.

**Tag-Out Process Knowledge**:

- Understands the tag-out process for systems and equipment and the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of working areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
