We’re seeking a future team member for the role of **Team Lead, Client Processing **to join our **FX Operations team **. This role is located in **Manchester **, **the UK **. Mode of work - HYBRID
**In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways**:
- Supervising/managing the day-to-day operations of a small
- to medium-sized client processing support team that handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries and problem resolution.
- Managing the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks. Serving as first line supervisor for assignment of tasks and resolution of issues.
- Directing, motivating and developing staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Ensuring the volume of work produce meeting product/service standards and exceeding quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
- Providing product knowledge and technical assistance on moderately complex problems. Acting as the team's initial point of contact for issues requiring escalation.
**To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following**:
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience (preferably within the financial sector)
- Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
- Exceptional attention to detail. Operate with a risk mindset
- Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent people management skills with a track record of leading, coaching & developing a team
- Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Sufficient understanding of FX (foreign exchange)
- Strong written and communication skills
