Assistant Buyer

**About The Role**:
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to assist the Head of Retail in sourcing, buying, and delivering products at the right cost, right time, and right place to not only appeal to the customer but to achieve the company's gross profit.

**Part time position, please note this role will involve both Weekday & Weekend working.**

**Duties include**:

- Assist in all aspects of supplier management and correspondence.
- Manage and maintain required Stock Levels through Stock Orders.
- Actively monitor sales and adapt to trading decisions accordingly.
- Product Analysis and Research into new Product Lines.
- Add new Product Lines to the EPOS System.
- Regular Price-Checks and Competition Reporting.
- Assist in Price Negotiations.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the Store Team.
- Proactively implement best practice procedures for the department.
- Assisting the creating annotated reports on different areas of The Store.

**About You**:
As a driven and results focused retail professional, you will have superb attention to detail and have experience of working within a similar position.

You will have excellent interpersonal communication skills whilst having a creative flair to maximize new sales & negotiate competitive prices.

As a key team player, you will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis for requests. You will have an engaging and positive personality, with a natural ability to bond with customers and other store team members.
