**About The Role**:
Our Technical Team is a very important team when it comes to Morrisons Manufacturing. It's down to them to ensure we're legally compliant from a food safety point of view. Our sites are super busy, ever-demanding and our standards are high - keeping our Technical team busy every day. We're looking for a Specification Technologist to join our Thrapston team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining all specifications and quality attribute sheets across the site.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Ensure all products are suitable for trading and compliant with relevant law
- Maintain the specifications files with the most current, up to date specification
- Manage and issue of manufacturing specifications to factory teams
- Obtaining artwork and ensuring sign-off as required to meet deadlines
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver technical aspects of the process on time
- Attending and contributing to meetings and ensuring all information is accessible
- Building relationships with internal teams in the business to help deliver results

**About You**:
As well as the ability to work at pace, you will also need to have:

- Relevant experience or a degree in science, food technology, or equivalent
- Knowledge of safety, legality, compliance and quality across supply chain and product range
- Previous experience/knowledge of retailer specification systems
- Understanding of BRC requirements
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills and solution focussed problem solver
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and a “right first time” attitude
- Creates a positive and dynamic working environment
