Yard Assistant - The Hairy Coo

The Hairy Coo is seeking a dedicated and diligent Yard Assistant to join our dynamic team. Supporting our team of 15 brand new mini buses/coaches, Reporting directly to our Fleet Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of coaches and maintaining the yard to uphold a safe and organized environment.

Key responsibilities include: (But are not limited too)
- Assisting in vehicle cleaning and the preparation of vehicles for tours, ensuring they are optimal condition.
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance on our fleet.
- Collaborating with the Fleet Exec to maintain excellent parts inventory and stock control.
- Addressing and rectifying repairs and faults reported by drivers under the guidance of the Fleet Exec.
- Transporting coaches to workshops as necessary.
- Carrying out daily Fleet Damage Inspections
- Responding promptly to breakdowns and other operational issues as they arise.
- Ensuring the fleet is looking its best and always clean.

**Previous experience in a similar role is required.**

**Working Hours - Monday - Friday - 1400 - 2200 (1 Hour Unpaid Break)**

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
