Nursery Cook

**SALARY £27,600 DEPENDING ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.**

**In order to be considered for the Nursery Cook position you are required to hold a food hygiene/safety certificate and have a knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.**
- **You will need to have worked either in a school, nursery, pre school or care home. Without all of the above unfortunately you can not be considered for this position.**_

Experienced Nursery Cook required for a private day nursery in Hitchin. Can be commutable from Sunnyside, Purwell, Benslow and immediate surrounding areas.

In order to be considered for the Nursery Cook position you are required to hold a food hygiene/safety certificate and have a knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

**Requirements of a Nursery Cook**:

- Have the ability to prepare, cook and serve healthy and nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children.
- Have a good understanding of food allergies, various dietary requirements and the ability to plan appropriate menus.
- Be able to work under own initiative, work well with the Nursery Manager and should be able to maintain the kitchen to a high standard.
- Have experience working in a nursery, pre school or school as a Nursery Cook
- Have a clear DBS and minimum satisfactory references in the last two places of employment
