Fire Plus Security is a growing independent business based in South West London and we’re now looking for an experienced **Fire Door Surveyor & Installer **to join our Passive Fire team. Our business works with a diverse range of clients - and with 85% of the work based within the M25 - this is a great opportunity for any ambitious, London-based Carpenter or Passive Fire Engineer to join our business in a new role that will offer significant development.

As an ambitious, innovative and fast paced business we’re looking for a like-minded Fire Door Surveyor & Installer who will likely come from a Fire Door / Carpentry background and has:

- At least 1 year’s experience working specifically as a Fire Door Surveyor.
- A strong background in carpentry and joinery ( NVQ Level 2 - Carpentry or Joinery preferred.)
- At least 4 years' experience installing/upgrading/maintaining & repairing existing Fire doors.
- Knowledge of Fire Door standards - FDIS, FIRAS, BM Trada, Bluesky IFC or BRE training beneficial - and familiarity with simPRO and OneTrace or equivalent like BORIS, Bolster etc.
- Full UK Drivers Licence (Essential) & enhanced DBS check.

The role will be 50/50 between surveying and install for the foreseeable future, but there is scope to progress off tools as our projects expand and the business grows.

Head Office in SW19, South West London. 85% projects London based.

Typical hours 8am - 4pm

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
